- Use language that is appropriate for your child’s age
- Try to avoid medical terminology and details that will confuse a young child.
- Stick to the basic information at first.
- Make your child aware of what triggers symptoms and giving very basic understanding of what happens to cause the symptoms. you can use story books, games and puzzles.
 

Talk To Teachers, Coaches And Parents of Friends2

- Your child’s school should be informed of any allergies. If your child has asthma or a severe allergy, give a copy of your child’s action plan to the school nurse or the administrative office.
